Senior Counselors will earn professional development hours by leading and teaching small groups in Spanish.  They should be dynamic, energetic, personable and have experience working with kids. They should enjoy leading games, songs and other camp activities.  Certified teachers with native or near-native ability in Spanish is required in order to apply.

Counselor Interns should have experience in leading and assisting with games, songs, craft and other camp activities with a highly proficient level of Spanish. Counselors must be fun, energetic and not afraid to be silly!  Previous camp counselor experience is an asset.  Typical counselor intern could be a college or graduate student.  Volunteer hours can be earned.

Counselors-in-Training  assist and learn from counselors at camp and assist with games, songs, crafts and other camp activities. They should be fun and energetic and not afraid to be silly!   Previous experience at a camp is also an asset.  Proficiency in Spanish required. This is an excellent opportunity to be immersed in the language while acquiring leadership skills as a camp counselor. Volunteer hours can also be earned. CITs receive $200 off of tuition for the week of camp.  Typical CITs are high school students and may be heritage speakers.
